Barrett Petfood is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer. We are hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician. This position will be responsible for facility maintenance activities primarily focused on food safety regulations. A strong mechanical aptitude is necessary.

Job Duties:
Job Duties:
- Complete facility maintenance activity to ensure compliance with proper food safety regulations and requirements.
- Grounds maintenance such as snow removal and lawncare as needed.
- General building construction work
- Familiar with production equipment
- Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out
- Electrically inclined, understanding single & 3 phase
- Safely handle power tools
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to obtain Forklift certification
- Welding experience is helpful, but not required
- Follow GMP’s and safety protocols
- Great trouble-shooting skills
- Computer literate
- Team effort and communicates well with group/shift
Schedule: Monday -Friday
7am - 3:30pm
Compensation Range: $25 per hour
