Barreto Manufacturing is Hiring a Laser Operator Near Horseshoe Bend, ID
Barreto Manufacturing, Inc. in Horseshoe Bend is seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laser cutting, sheet metal fabrication, and operating CNC machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut, trim, or form workpieces according to specifications
- Monitor the production process to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery
- Knowledge of welding, stamping press, lathe operation, and micrometer usage
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
- Forklift operation experience is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.92 - $23.99 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
