Barre Town Middle and Elementary School and Barre City Elementary and Middle School are seeking 2nd shift custodians. Second shift is 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm during the school year and 7:00 am - 3:30 pm during summer.Candidates must:- Be able to perform physical labor/activities, lifting, unassisted, bending, standing, climbing and walking.- Work effectively and respectfully with public.- Understand and carry out oral and written directions.- Maintain cooperative working relationships.- Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.- Pass a background and fingerprint check. Background in commercial cleaning preferred.The rate of pay for this position is $19.49 per hour, plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential when working the second shift.
