The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking a full time, licensed Speech and Language Pathologist to join our Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathology team in the 2024-25 school year.This person will be responsible for evaluations, services and consultation for children with IEPs and assist with transitions from Early Intervention. This position includes providing services both to children enrolled in our public school prekindergarten programs, and to children who attend pre-qualified prekindergarten partner programs in Barre. Experience and knowledge of augmentative communication preferred.Ability to work and communicate effectively with other service providers, para-educators, and families is a must.Qualified candidates must hold a valid VT Educator license with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement. A Certificate of Clinical Competency-Speech-Language Pathology, and experience instructing and assessing children at the preschool level preferred.
