Barracuda Staffing & Consulting is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Broken Arrow, OK

We are currently looking to fill a Quality Inspector position with a Broken Arrow company. 
Pay: $18-$22/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm (overtime as needed)
The Quality Inspector is responsible for compliance with quality systems, inspection of product to quality standards, and containment of non-compliant products. The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards. This position may also have document control responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify product conformance through direct inspection and comparison to product-controlled documents.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, and schematic diagrams, and confer with the Quality team to determine inspection requirements.
  • Create certificates of conformance and manage quality records efficiently.
  • Perform destructive and nondestructive tests to measure product performance, reliability, and material characteristics.
  • Validate job travelers for conformance to specifications and procedures on all product groups.
  • Execute QMS procedures related to Quality Inspection and Product realization.
Job Knowledge / Experience:
  • 2-4 years experience in Quality Inspection
  • Experience & Knowledge: Proficiency in using inspection tools, and metallurgical sampling equipment, and understanding of ISO Management Systems and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, drawings, and governmental regulations. Familiarity with GD&T, calibration concepts, and gauge measurement error concepts.
  • High school diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication and data management skills
  • Requires a high level of proficiency with Windows-based applications.
  • Must be able to set priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliability and dependability are a must.
