  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate in a consultative manner with project team members and clients

  • Demonstrated skills and abilities in negotiation; problem-solving; attention to detail; accuracy and producing high-quality deliverables; project organization and management; fulfilling commitments on schedule and meeting deadlines; leading teams in preparing effective documents and applications; and building strong working relationships

  • Self-initiative and motivation with an emphasis on client service

  • A flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedule as required to meet project deadlines and/or client needs

  • Willingness to travel and work out of town

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship from Barr, now or in the future

  • Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • Ability to process complex or rapidly developing information to extract key issues and implications and develop appropriate strategies

  • Experience training and mentoring staff

  • Up-to-date MSHA certification
