OBJECTIVE:

Removes currency from storage containers, does a currency count per cart, prepares paperwork, and verifies totals, sells currency to vault.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works in loud noise and majority of shift in a small locked room

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Always be NICE to fellow staff and players/ find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
2. Unloads and runs currency through system.
3. Sorts currency through two-pocket jet scan
4. Verifies and straps currency by denomination
5. Bands straps into bricks and stores in Plexiglas carts
6. Reconciles physical count with printer, totals and prepares denomination total worksheet
7. Organizes loose money in denomination order, rubber bands per cart
8. Prepares cash receipt for transfer to vault
9. Dates straps for following workday
10. Operates the scanning program.
11. Scans the vouchers by cart.
12. Processes the cart for reconciling.
13. Prepares no-match report for look up.
14. Enters bar code of no-match voucher into look-up data bank.
15. Processes the no-match and summary report.
16. Cleans and maintains equipment at end of shift

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Guest service, public relations, oral communication, 10-key, and computer skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Ability to handle large quantities of money accurately and quickly

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Pervious money handling experience preferred
