Core Responsibilities:

• Performs skilled machining operations, including but not limited to; laser cutting/drilling, milling, sawing, tapping and grinding to extremely close tolerances according to customer specifications.
• Sets up and operates a broad range of machines including Laser machines, CNC Mills, horizontal boring mills, grinders, drill presses and lathes.
• Interfaces with supervision, toolmakers, engineers, program managers and quality personnel to resolve problems and ensure that parts are manufactured to customer specifications.
• Uses all types of inspection and measuring devices to check and verify tooling and parts.
• Uses and interprets complicated prints, drawings and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing background, preferably in Aerospace.
• Must have experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools including grinders, saws, drill presses and band saws
• Must have experience with a wide variety of measuring and inspection devices
• Must be able to pay exception attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures and complete assignments accurately and on time
• Must have experience in interpreting all types of engineering drawings and documents

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
