Barn Owl Robotics is searching for an energetic software engineer to join our Consulting Group. The optimal candidate will be an inquisitive self-starter, ready to work with our primary customer in the development of both embedded and desktop software. There will be opportunity to interface with significant military hardware.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement product enhancements
• Work in a team environment
• Decompose goals into personal tasks; provide time estimates
• Manage software changes via configuration management tools
• Interface with hardware teams as needed
• Design and execute unit tests
• Analyze source code via requisite analysis tools
• Update documentation as needed
• Provide status of personal tasks
• Support quality assurance teams through software builds
• Support corrective actions necessary for fielded products
• Honor delivery schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or equivalent
• 3 years experience (post-degree)
• C, C , or C# in an embedded environment
• Git
• Basic understanding of digital hardware
• Strong problem solving skills
• Familiarity with full life cycle development
• Good oral and written communication skills
• US Citizenship
