Administrative Front Desk Relations
Barker Specialty is a promotional products supplier. Our goal is to work with clients to effectively promote a company or organization, provide enhanced recognition, and consistently maintain brand integrity. We accomplish these objectives with a strong focus on the customer needs including on-time delivery, dedicated account managers, low pricing, and quality products.
Our innovative and growing company is looking to hire an organized, conscientious, and experienced Administrative Front Desk Customer Relations.
Role and Responsibilities
· The focus of this job is representing Barker Specialty to in-person visitors and incoming phone calls.
· Facilitating customer pick-ups, payments, general questions.
· Assist with showroom or sales rep visits all while providing a positive experience.
· Maintaining cleanliness of the front desk area and ensure it is welcoming.
· Assist with small projects that are able to be performed while maintaining the area and responsibilities.
· Answer & maintain Phone directory to those that call in.
· Scheduling vendor visits and any other assistance that is needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Proficient in: Multi-tasking, organization, accuracy, and general in-person and phone etiquette.
· Must have a pleasant demeanor and be able to defuse situations with exemplary customer service.
· Must be able to lift 10-15lbs occasionally.Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide information about the organization, such as office hours, services, and directions
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Perform data entry tasks, such as updating patient information or entering orders
- Transcribe medical records or other important documents accurately
- Assist with order entry and inventory management as needed
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing information
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of office management procedures and basic accounting principles is a plus
- Outstanding customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with patients and visitors
