We're looking for a dog-loving, responsible, enterprising retail worker for our Pet Grooming Salon and Retail space located in the heart of Park Slope. This is our main location and the perfect position for a customer service expert who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment with plenty of room for growth.

The shop sells pet foods, supplies, offers self-service dog wash, and has a full service Salon. Our new associate will be responsible for:

• manning the shop on their own for the majority of their shift
• helping customers use our self-service tub
• assisting customers with selection and purchase of dog food, treats, toys, and other merchandise
• resolving customer service issues as they arise
• being friendly and knowledgeable about the products
• assisting in inventory upkeep
• keeping the shop clean and organized
• being a brand ambassador
• handling and working on dogs for nail trims and possible other a la carte services

We're looking for someone who:

• loves being around dogs and excels at customer service
• is a self-starter and instinctively knows how to prioritize tasks
• is on time all of the time
• is familiar with square pos and/or is able to quickly learn our point of sale software system
• is interested in learning about products and pet care
