As the first point of contact for our internal users, this position provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network issues. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach to resolving IT-related issues.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, Jira, or in-person, and provide timely technical assistance to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in the setup, installation, and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems using established procedures, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or appropriate IT support teams while ensuring clear and detailed documentation of the problem.
• Maintain accurate records of IT support requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory using ticketing systems or databases.
• Assist in the implementation of software updates, patches, and basic network configurations as directed by senior team members.
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on utilizing software applications and IT systems effectively.
• Avoid legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
• Act as liaison with IT and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems
• Maintain current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional network.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma, or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in IT-related fields are advantageous.
• Strong passion for technology and a desire to build a career in IT.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and IT procedures.
• Previous experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Working Conditions:

• Varies by location. Mostly remote or working from Vancouver Branch, but other locations may be required on rare occasion. Retail store, warehouse, and stock room. Exposed to various work surfaces both inside and outside. The work is usually performed inside, but exposure to various environments occur frequently.

Typical Salary range is $24-27 per hour DOE
