Shore Tanker Apprentice Benefits:

Shore Tanker Apprentice Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe transfer of liquid tank barges while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Handle and transfer hazardous liquids with a high level of skill and knowledge.
• Maintain a secure and sustainable work environment.

• Willing to undergo training to obtain a Merchant Mariner Document with a Tankerman's-PIC endorsement.
• Successful completion of an approved cargo course certification is necessary.
• Possess a current and valid driver's license.
• Get TWIC License

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in operating and maintaining liquid transfer equipment (pumps, hoses, valves).
• Familiarity with different types of liquid cargoes and their handling requirements.
• Understanding of barge and vessel operations, including cargo tank configurations and loading/unloading procedures.
