Established in 2002, Barefoot Campus Outfitters was founded with the aim of providing customers with high-quality T-shirts featuring unique designs. Our retail stores offer customers a fun and welcoming shopping experience, with a mission to provide all visitors with exceptional products to meet their needs. While our primary focus is on licensed college apparel in our seven collegiate stores, we also operate tourist stores offering souvenir items. Over the years, Barefoot has expanded to 17 retail locations across six states, including tourist stores in Durango, Bozeman, and Fredericksburg, Texas. Additionally, we recently introduced a food specialty store featuring home decor items and a new toy store. As we continue to grow and open more brick-and-mortar retail locations, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team at Barefoot.
Bozeman, Montana Retail Store Details:
We are currently seeking a manager for our retail store in Bozeman, Montana. This store provides a range of souvenir apparel and items for tourists, along with Montana State University apparel and novelty items.
Manager Role and Responsibilities:
The retail store manager at our Bozeman, Montana location will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, managing checkout processes, organizing product displays, receiving and fulfilling orders, and overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the store. The manager will also be responsible for opening and closing procedures, delegating tasks to part-time employees, and ensuring all cash handling and deposit procedures are followed accurately.
On a weekly basis, the manager will be responsible for compiling and submitting detailed reports, scheduling staff, monitoring supply levels, and conducting inventory checks. Every other week, the manager will attend Zoom meetings with both Barefoot managers and regional managers. Monthly tasks include recognizing outstanding employees, updating window and table displays, and participating in hiring processes. Additionally, the manager will oversee staff training, evaluations, and payroll, as well as ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
