• Tracking deliveries, updating order records, and inventory.
• Daily WIP accuracy and shipment coordination
• Notify coordinators in Tracy of any shipment delays so they can update the job board.
• Direct coordination/communication with Countertops Plant Manager.
• WIP accuracy nothing in the past, coordinate with Tracy coordinators.
• Shipment/Install Coordination
• WO creation for all installs, send day before to install contractor.
• Claim shipments day of delivery.
• Manage procurement of raw material commodities ensuring cost effective purchasing, which results in the lowest cost and highest quality material that can be received in a reasonable time frame.
• Actively review invoices to determine accuracy and identify discrepancies creating appropriate recommendations for disposition.
• Establish vendor relationships providing opportunities for presentation of products and services that may be beneficial and productive to all concerned.
• Continually monitor current and prospective vendor performance and manage accounts accordingly.
• Analyze system status reports utilizing all data including placement orders, expediting, rescheduling and dispositions of surplus materials.
• Production planning.
• Purchasing and receiving.
• Raw and WIP Inventory control and reporting monthly.
• Contribute to the improvement of incoming material verification.
• Forecast management.

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent education, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years equivalent experience in purchasing.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exists.
