About us:

Barbara Olson Center of Hope has a mission to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach personal goals through individualized skill development, vocational opportunities, and community service.

### Duties:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a day program setting
- Encouraging a fun and inspiring environment for individuals to learn, explore, and have fun
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
- Coordinating visits in the community, which also includes driving the individuals to their outings and community activities
- Creating a daily schedule as well as an individual schedule with each participant in the area, maintaining a person-centered focus

### Skills:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus, but not required
- Ability to drive a small bus or full-size van with training
-Willingness to learn and grow with the organization

• Must have a Valid Driver's License

### Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• No weekends or evenings
