Baranko Companies is currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Hydrovac Assistant to join our team. As a Hydrovac Assistant, you will assist in the safe and efficient operation of hydrovac equipment to perform excavation and material removal tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Hydrovac Operators in setting up and operating hydrovac equipment
• Perform excavation and material removal tasks as directed by the operator
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist in the proper disposal of materials and waste
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
• CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred but not required
