Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Director to join our team. As the Special Education Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our special educational programs and ensuring their success. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, budgeting experience, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement educational strategies and programs to meet the needs of our organization

- Manage and lead a team of educators and administrative staff

- Provide guidance and support to educators in curriculum development, instructional methods, and assessment techniques

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of educational goals with overall organizational objectives

- Oversee budgeting and financial management for educational programs

- Conduct regular evaluations of educational programs to assess effectiveness and make necessary improvements

- Provide academic advising to students and assist with their special educational needs

- Coordinate and manage projects related to special education initiatives

- Write reports, proposals, and other documents as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Proven experience in education administration or a similar leadership role

- Strong knowledge of educational principles, practices, and trends

- Experience working with students of all ages and diverse backgrounds

- Excellent administrative and organizational skills

- Proficient in budgeting and financial management

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire others

- Exceptional project management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
