BAR WEST is looking for a full time expeditor and food runner, Tuesday through Saturday Evenings 4-10pm, with some saturday and sunday mornings. Some restaurant experience would be nice, but willing to train for this position those that are eagar to get their foot in the door in the restaurant industry. Job Summary:
We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to the customers, maintaining quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate food orders between the kitchen staff and servers
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards
- Monitor order tickets to prioritize and manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to avoid delays
- Assist in food preparation and plating when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area

Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Experience in bussing tables or assisting with food handling is a plus
