Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for attorneys
- Assist with legal administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining client files
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents under the supervision of attorneys
- Assist with document review and preparation for court hearings and trials
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents
- Interview clients to gather necessary information for legal cases
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a legal receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
-Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
