Responsibilities
Responsibilities include strategic leadership and oversight for the BCRI in order to drive change, operational effectiveness and efficiencies, health improvements, and quality patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with Executive Leadership, other key internal/external key stakeholders, and physicians to develop quality/safety standards, identify best research practices and care models, optimize the patient experience, and enhance physician and team member engagement. Drives a culture of excellence in support of the Baptist mission, vision, and values. Reports to Vice President, Physician Enterprise and Sr. Vice President/Chief Medical Officer and Physician Executive.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Master's Degree in business administration, health care administration, or other related degree to include a clinical discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of experience with progressive, outcome oriented background in an administrative or management position in clinical research with strong operational, grant development, and clinical oversight.
Sound financial budgeting, reporting, and analytical skills to gauge individual and system research performance.
Strong operational leadership skills including project management, process improvement, problem solving, decision-making, prioritization, delegation, team building, patient satisfaction, service excellence, and conflict resolution.
Skills in managing diverse priorities and operational complexities in multiple locations.
Builds a culture focused on Baptist's mission, vision, and values and Baptist Management System.

• Extensive knowledge of research operational and care issues, business trends and models, and regulatory/legal compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills to facilitate and leverage collaborative relationships in the development/implementation of research initiatives.

Works with discipline and urgency regarding the pace of change in the current healthcare environment and is able to work effectively on multiple priorities.
