Hair Stylist Job description
Seeking an experienced licensed cosmetologist to help us enrich the lives of our seniors through elevating their self-image. We offer residents the feeling of independent living while still providing support with everyday activities of daily living.
- Baptist Village provides space and utilities for use in the beauty salon. There is a $200.00 per month rent for the salon. Rent includes all utilities. The stylist will be responsible for the laundering of the towels and any daily cleaning.
- All arrangements and charges for beauty salon supplies shall be the responsibility of the stylist.
- Baptist Village provides a smoke free environment.
- The stylist agrees to abide by all regulations by state and federal agencies and always maintain a clean salon.
- Outside clientele encouraged!
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must provide certification of current Oklahoma Cosmetology License, workers compensation and liability insurance of at least $100,000.
- Must pass a criminal background/ fingerprint clearance.
- Ability to perform women’s and men’s haircuts, blow outs/ styling/ wash and sets, color, and perms.
Candidate must:
· provide excellent customer service.
- Great communication skills
- Be self-motivated and reliable.
- Stylist must be positive, upbeat and kind.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Self-determined Day shift schedule with Weekend availability
