Baptist Health is Hiring a Patient Sitter Near Little Rock, AR

Shift: Day

Working Hours: 6:30 AM- 7:00 PM

Summary:
To assist in maintaining a safe environment for behavioral health patients with suicidal thoughts. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the sitter will maintain continuous observation of the patient as a one to one sitter. Reports pertinent observations regarding patients to the appropriate person (primary nurse). Does not leave the patient room until hand off so that continuous observation will be maintained. Shows respect for the dignity of individuals by addressing patients, employees and physicians in a respectful and pleasant manner

Other information:
A high school diploma or GED is required. CPR must be completed within 30 days of hire.

This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
