Job Description:
Certified Nursing Aide-Telemetry- 3-South-Full-Time
  • Certified professional caregiver working under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Responsible for providing assigned care according to scope of practice
  • Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups.
  • Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups.
  • All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current Kentucky Nurse Aid Certification required or successful completion of Fundamentals of nursing-(first semester)-in an accredited Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
  • Certifications based on unit worked:
    • BLS
    • LTA
    • CNA Patient Deterioration
  • Possess basic knowledge of medical terminology
