Description:


Responsible for overall administration of the Baptist Health Medical Group (“BHMG”) associated physician offices. Develops and implements strategic, tactical and performance improvement plans to support current operations and future growth. Collaborates with physicians and practice managers to facilitate high quality, cost-effective patient care. Shares in accountability for financial performance of designated sites. Aligns key supporting teams within Baptist Health to define objectives and achieve targeted goals. Interfaces and/or develops appropriate programs and/or services within designated service lines. Able to communicate effectively and implement system-wide initiatives (HR, Marketing…). Supports BHSF IT as well as BHMG members with implementation of electronic systems. Contributes to growth and profitability by providing operational expertise to existing and potential physician practices. Ensures practice management and operations are conducted in a manner consistent with Baptist Health mission, vision, and service standards. Estimated salary range for this position is $110425.08 - $143552.60 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications:


Degrees: Bachelors Additional Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Admin degree. Preferably 5 or more of years physician practice administration and operational management including sound knowledge of medical practice revenue cycle. MBA/MHA strongly preferred. Proven leadership with physician practice operations, reimbursement, continuous improvement methods, along with the demonstrated ability to develop and lead highly effective teams. Is able to assist in identifying, developing and prioritizing capital expenditure projects and their budgets. Has necessary knowledge to participate in the strategic planning process for BHMG and service lines. Proven experience in developing and maintaining physician relationships, as well as expertise in leading management and multi-disciplinary teams in the achievement of company goals. Ability to manage across dispersed practices and multi-specialty environment. Manages physician integration to ensure successful transition and on-boarding success. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, which must include demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and tactfully to internal and external contacts, in particular to physicians in order to present and obtain sensitive information.
