This is a unique opportunity to get into the world of jewelry with little to no experience. We are looking for people who are excited and eager to learn.

Apprentices will work closely with our team of experienced setters and quality assurance team learning the ins and outs of setting diamonds.

This apprenticeship program gives you an entry point to a career in jewelry by guiding you in taking steps towards becoming a and helping you maintain the high level of skill required in the jewelry industry.

The courses, tasks, and resources provided to you in our were created to give you the foundational knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experiences you need to become a Setter.

Responsibilities :

• Enhance your setting knowledge through training and on-the-job demonstrations with other experienced setters
• Follow the James Allen criteria to meet quality standards for all your work
• Mark and drill holes in jewelry mounting to center stones according to design
• Position, align, and set center stones on jewelry pieces
• Mount and secure item in place using setting tools
• Follow all instructions and procedures; use appropriate tools as required
• Inspect basket and head mountings before setting and review work after completing the setting
• Count and document individual daily work performed

Base pay for this role is $17.00 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
