Position Summary

This is a newly created role that will be a very important team member at Banner Engineering. The Pricing and Commercial Senior Analyst will be responsible for the strategic and tactical implementation and maintenance of global pricing (both external and intercompany). The successful candidate will become the go-to Pricing expert at Banner; understanding the details of the pricing structure, working cross-functionally to identify creative pricing solutions and lead continuous improvement efforts around pricing processes. In addition, this role will be a key partner supporting the Finance and Commercial teams, helping to drive improved accountability, profitability and financial analysis. The Pricing and Commercial Senior Analyst will identify and implement best practices, SOPs and standard process documentation.

This position reports to Commercial and Operations Finance Director.

According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:

· Non-Exempt/Exempt, based on the Executive/Administrative/Professional/Computer Employee/Outside Sales Exemption

What You’ll Be Doing

Pricing

· Lead semi-annual price change process, working closely with the Finance, Product Management and Commercial teams.

· Daily price maintenance/updates, including ensuring that product profit margins meet desired thresholds.

· Low margin review and Special Price Agreement analysis.

· Identifies and implements best practices, SOPs and process documentation.

· Works cross functionally with Product Management, Engineering and Commercial Sales teams.

Commercial

· Leads development of Sales budgets and tracking, working closely with Finance and Sales leadership.

· Sales Manager Incentive plans and calculation.

· Sales Representative commissions calculation, tracking and payout.

· Help with the development of Commercial KPIs, tracking and follow-ups/actions.

· Assisting with financial analysis, month-end duties, and/or special projects as requested.

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance, Accounting, or related field

· Minimum five years of experience in a financial analyst role

· Financial modeling, including price/margin analysis

· Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Products (mainly Excel, Outlook, etc)

· Good listening skills and desire to learn

· Ability to communicate with team members at all levels of Banner
