Banner Health is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Near Quemado, NM

We are looking for highly organized, compassionate candidates to work as ER nurses. ER nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained, among other duties.

Details:

  • Position : Registered Nurse
  • Unit: Emergency Room
  • Shift : Days, 3x12, 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM
  • Location : Tucson, AZ
  • Pay : $43/hr - $53/hr (Case-to-case basis)
  • Duration : 13 weeks (Extensions possible)

Responsibilities:

  • Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
  • Quickly assessing patient needs.
  • Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
  • Performing minor medical operations.
  • Cleaning wounds.
  • Drawing blood.
  • Maintaining emergency room care standards.
  • Assisting with insurance paperwork.
  • Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
  • Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.

Notes: Must be willing to float to units where experienced,
Weekend schedule to be determined by facility

Requirements:

  • Minimum 24 months of current ER experience - REQUIRED
  • State license must be in hand
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • CPI
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
