General Position Scope:Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers in a timely and accurate manner. Duties and Responsibilities: Receive and prepare incoming wire transfers.Accept, log, validate originating account collected funds and transmit outgoing wire transfers to the Federal Reserve.Monitor and maintain correspondent Bank balances on a daily basis in order to utilize all available funds in operating account and Federal Reserve Bank.Monitor and maintain wire transfer customer agreement files.Download and process e-BankPlus Wire Transfer requests hourly until 3pmCorrect ACH exceptions.Backup to the ACH processing position.Backup to the Wire Transfer Specialist position.Other duties as assignedParticipation in the bank’s High-Performance Connections program.Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth ManagementMaintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct. Position Requirements:Associate’s degree preferred or two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and OutlookExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExtensive reading as neededWork outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessaryAbility to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines
