PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT:

 To perform the necessary cleaning duties ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS OF THE POSITION:

•  Ensure all restrooms are sufficiently supplied at all times.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Clean restrooms according to the designated schedule following applicable procedures.
• Sweep and clean plant floors as necessary.
• Collect ink hoppers and dump waste ink into the dumpster.
• Clean offices, break/smoking rooms, and locker rooms.
• Empty trash and operate the compactor (following safety procedures).
• Maintain outdoor walkways
• Operate forklift and floor scrubber (observe all safety requirements, inspect forklift for proper/safe operation, follow safety procedures for cleaning and scrubber chemicals).
• Floor maintenece such as stripping, waxing and buffing the floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by BCA Management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Prefer experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis.
• Must be able to perform unlimited standing, walking, bending, pulling, and pushing.
• Self-motivated and able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and floor scrubbers and be forklift certified if required.
• Reading/writing skills sufficient to comprehend work instructions.
