Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for Quoting New Business and managing existing customers.
• Composes and prepares various correspondence, memos, reports or other materials on behalf of the agency manager.
• Schedule/coordinate customer internal & external meetings, participate in such meetings on behalf of the department as needed.
• Communicates with customers in person and on the telephone, provides general information, answers questions and directs individuals to the appropriate party as necessary.
• Maintains database information, vendors, client contacts, etc. in applicable formats.
• Other duties as assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the position.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors 4-year degree or a minimum of three years of previous work-related experience is required.
• Basic understanding of Group and Individual Long-Term Care, Life Insurance, Disability, Vision, Dental, and over and under 65 insurance products in the industry is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Navigator, AgencyBloc, Mineral and Business Banking Platform is a plus.
• A current Life & Health as well as a Long-Term Care license preferred, or willingness to obtain such license.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills are mandatory.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook) required.
• Requires excellent problems solving skills, as well as the ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgment when making decisions.
• Requires a strong sense of ethics and reliability, and the ability to respect and maintain absolute confidentiality.
