Bank of Idaho is Hiring a Financial Services Representative Near Nampa, ID

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provides quality banking service to meet customer needs. Job Duties: Answers customer questions and resolves issues and problems. Will be working with customers face to face. Making sure we proactively greet our customers. Being able to handle phone calls effectively, working to meet customer needs once proper protocols are followed to verify a customer's identity over the phone. Handles customer transactions, posts transactions, pays out funds, and verifies cash. Identifies counterfeit currency. Cross-sells bank products and services. Maintains appropriate currency logs. Must perform work under minimal supervision. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Do not have lending authority.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work location is on the teller line, or at the drive-up window
  • Respond to customer inquires
  • Respond to customer needs with consultative banking approach
  • Other duties as assigned

  • An individual demonstrates the ability to develop repeat clients or retain relationships.
  • The individual understands retail branch services and the importance of keeping current with new developments and procedures.
  • Individuals can thrive in an individual capacity while participating effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in computer software packages including Word, Excel and Outlook and learns new software programs quickly.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service, handling cash and/or general clerical duties
  • Excellent communication skills and personable attitude
  • Ability to use various technical programs and devices; keyboarding, 10-key, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1-2 years exceptional customer service experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work full time, up to 40 hours per week
  • Ability to work overtime when there are business needs
  • Standing frequently, 66% or more per day
  • Sitting occasionally, 33%-65% per day
  • Speaking frequently, 66% or more per day
  • Listening frequently, 66% or more per day
  • Climbing rarely, less than 33% per day
  • Stooping, squatting, occasionally, less than 33% per day

  • Manual dexterity, and fine hand manipulation, frequently, 66% of more per day
  • Overhead work, rarely, less than 33% per day
