Bank of China Limited, New York Branch is Hiring a TSD-Quality Control Unit (QCU) AVP Near New York, NY

Overview

The incumbent will be responsible for providing risk analysis and assessments for the department on all risk categories including liquidity, market, credit, operational, compliance, reputational and strategic, and monitoring of the department’s key risk indicators.

Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

  • Assist with post lending and collateral review management, prepare reports and analytics as needed
  • Support organizational compliance with risk policies through regular risk exposure monitoring and reporting
  • Conduct periodic reviews of transactions in the database for data integrity and accuracy
  • Review the departmental control procedures and identify areas of improvements

Risks Assessment

  • Identify, assess, monitor and report operating, compliance, & reputational risks/issues for department
  • Set up various risk type parameters, perform self-risk assessments, bank program reviews, monitoring and reporting
  • Assess risk limit appropriateness and escalate risk issues to appropriately as needed

Audit and Process Review

  • Conduct quality reviews of documentation such as agreements prior to finalization
  • Assist marketing team in new product origination, third party risk oversight, and product procedures review
  • Coordinate with various teams to maintain and update departmental policy and procedures
  • Assist in managing audit and regulatory requests as central point of contact

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in banking is required
  • 2 – 3 years of working experience in Risk Assessment and/or Quality Control is preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required
  • CAMS certification is preferred but not required

Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.

USD $65,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
