Who You Are

The Quality Control Specialist under the supervision of the SVP, Director Operations is responsible for the daily review of new accounts opened in the core system, maintenance to accounts and customer records, as well as exceptions to standard procedures. Performs a daily review of account production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. This position handles both routine assignments and provides service and support to other team members throughout the BOAA network.

Your Role

  • Adheres to bank policies and procedures regarding data integrity, to increase efficiency, and reduces added costs.
  • Daily review of newly established Deposit Accounts added to the Core system and all changes made to Deposit Accounts, such as, Demand Deposit Accounts (DDA), Savings, Certificate of Deposit (COD), Safety Deposit Box (SDB), IRA and Health Savings Account (HSA) ensuring accuracy in setup and completion of and electronic storage of account governing documents.
  • Daily review of CIF (Customer Information File) and File Maintenance Report for Deposit Accounts, such as, DDA, Savings, COD, SDB, IRA and HSAs for changes and to ensure supporting documentation is on file.
  • Work with the branch staff to fix incorrect data and obtain all missing documentation to support account set-ups and changes.
  • Process change of address requests and return mail in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process importation of documents, indexing, and adjusting keywords to Director.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal customers.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Competencies Required:

  • Working knowledge of Fiserv Premier core data system, including data specifications for deposit products, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Banking regulations, including Regulatory requirements for IRA/HSA tax reporting of transactions, preferred.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Demonstrate efficient and effective use of digital tools, including Fiserv core system, Director, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, dual monitors, Microsoft Teams, and interest and ability to learn new applications.
  • Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with vendors, consumers, and internal team members.
  • Customer service orientation with developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
Required Experience:


Your Knowledge and Experience

  • 2 to 4 years’ financial institution experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of Fiserv Premier core data system, including data specifications for deposit products, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Banking regulations, including Regulatory requirements for IRA/HSA tax reporting of transactions, preferred.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and produce accurate, high-quality work.
  • Demonstrate efficient and effective use of digital tools, including Fiserv core system, Director, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, dual monitors, Microsoft Teams, and interest and ability to learn new applications.
