Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.

• Apply knowledge in development and testing practices common to the industry, and usage of design and architectural patterns.

• Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

• Design, develop, and modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.

• Set up and develop a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline and automate manual release activities.

• Design and develop full automation to test various tools such as Pepperdata and Cloudera Manager utilizing Selenium Framework.

• Use Pepperdata, Wandisco, Spark, Hive, Impala, and Kafka to support various Hadoop echosystems.

• Design, develop and socialize a cloud platform and integration roadmap to moderate existing and support emerging requirements.

• Design and rewrite solutions using Python and PowerShell Scripting to support user community specific to Hadoop ecosystem.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related; and

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and developing full automation to test various tools such as Pepperdata and Cloudera Manager utilizing Selenium Framework;

• Using Pepperdata, Wandisco, Spark, Hive, Impala, and Kafka to support various Hadoop echosystems;

• Designing, developing and socializing a cloud platform and integration roadmap to moderate existing and support emerging requirements; and

• Designing and rewriting solutions using Python and PowerShell Scripting to support user community specific to Hadoop ecosystem.
