Job Description:
We are seeking a multifaceted Sr. QA Automation Consultant who can effectively operate as a Test Manager, Test Coordinator, and Test Architect, depending on project requirements. This role is critical in our digital transformation efforts and demands a professional with a comprehensive understanding of testing strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning:

• Develop a broad testing strategy for enterprise-level projects/programs, ensuring alignment with the overall transformation objectives.
• Create detailed testing plans covering scope, objectives, resources, and timelines.
• Identify and define various testing types and levels, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software aspects.
• Assist in establishing guidelines for test case execution, including test data preparation and execution environments.
• Establish benchmarks for success and track progress against these benchmarks.
• Facilitate communication with all stakeholders, including testing and development teams, project managers, and others.
• Identify requirements for testing resources, tools, and environments.

Test Metrics Development and Reporting:

• Define key testing metrics aligned with project goals and quality standards.
• Maintain and organize thorough documentation of testing processes, cases, and results.
• Develop reporting mechanisms to track testing progress and communicate results.
• Provide regular updates on testing status, including issues and risk mitigation strategies.

Issue Tracking and Management:

• Monitor and manage testing progress, addressing issues as they arise.
• Implement a system for tracking and prioritizing defects identified during testing.
• Enhance the testing process's efficiency and effectiveness through process improvements.
• Engage in post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.

Risk Management:

• Identify, document, and escalate potential risks in testing activities.
• Develop strategies and plans to mitigate testing-related risks.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong experience in Java, Selenium, and Test Automation Frameworks.
• Proven background in managing complex testing projects in the logistics domain.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Capable of working 100% onsite from day one in Jacksonville, FL.
