Job Description:

Summary of Position

Works with High Net Worth Investors to create customized investment strategies. Responsible for understanding strategic investment objectives, spending policy needs and unique client/prospect goals to provide guidance and develop, implement and manage investments. Portfolio Managers (PMs) can manage customized client portfolios on a fully discretionary basis and where applicable provides advisory services and single mandate strategies.

Manages individual securities (stocks, bonds, REITs, MLPs, etc.), SMAs, alternative investments, and Specialty Assets (i.e. Timber, Farm, Oil and Gas), in addition to monitoring the portfolios and rebalancing to ensure alignment of asset allocation with client's investment objectives and risk tolerances. Usually manages the firm's the most complex and sophisticated relationships.

Major Responsibilities

• Understands the client's situation and circumstances
• Maintains a book of client portfolios which includes developing the investment strategy, implementing the plan, on-going monitoring and keeping the client informed
• Creates the Investment Policy Statement leveraging a broad array of asset classes
• Possesses technical investment knowledge to select investments
• Delivers our full array of integrated solutions, such as equities, fixed income, alternative investments and Specialty Asset Management (SAM) as appropriate
• Understand how to prudently utilize mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and individual securities to build portfolios
• Ensures that Reg 9s, AAMs, TPRs, DMS requirements are solved in advance of deadlines
• Collaborates with teammates to deliver our full array of integrated solutions and deliver on the Private Bank's value proposition
• Works with teammates to deliver our full array of integrated solutions
• Helps the team achieve a meaningful interaction with every client, every quarter and includes but not limited to, regular investment reviews
• Collaborates with team members to consistently deliver on the Private Bank's value proposition and help our clients achieve their financial goals
• Mentors and coaches colleagues to help them with their job performance and career advancement
• Explains the capital markets, investment strategies and performance analytics to clients and adapts investment strategies to changing market conditions and evolving client needs
• Meets all training, risk and compliance requirements and policies
