Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team. The Parking Enforcement Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with parking regulations and maintaining order within designated parking areas. This position requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to enforce parking regulations and issue citations as necessary
- Monitor parking meters and ensure proper payment
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance regarding parking regulations and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of citations issued, payments received, and any other relevant information
- Report any suspicious or illegal activities observed during patrols
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Assist with traffic control during special events or emergencies

Experience:
- Previous experience in law enforcement or a related field is preferred
- Strong report writing skills
- Conflict management abilities
- Excellent customer service skills

Skills:
- Knowledge of parking regulations and traffic laws
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
