Summary

· The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing the security team. Working closely with operations, the Security Supervisor ensures that the most effective security plans are in place to operate safely and effectively. This must be accomplished while seamlessly creating a positive guest experience. Ensuring the VIP door is operated in way that follows all local and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

· The Nightlife Security Supervisors number one goal is to limit liability in all of its forms by maintaining a safe and hazard free work environment for both guests and staff

· Recruitment, locating, interviewing, and hiring additional staff as necessary

· Developing a security plan tailored for venue

· Appointing a Security Lead to the venue

· Conducting spot checks and investigating customer complaints

· Contracting paramedics, EMT’s, and outside security

· Coordinating with client and celebrity security teams

· Enforcing Company Policy/Procedure

· Mastering a working knowledge of and enforcing all company policies including:
The Attendance Policy
Zero tolerance for employee drug and alcohol use
The Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Policy
The Social Media/Celebrity/Privacy Policy
Meal and Rest Break Policy
Law Enforcement

· Operating venues within their issued occupancy loads

· Maintaining strong contacts and relationships within PD, FD, and VICE

· Assisting with subpoena and surveillance requests

· Giving depositions and witness testimony when necessary

· Ensuring all incidents are documented correctly

· Ensuring all incident reports are preserved for a minimum of 2 years

· Investigating incidents thoroughly

· Ensuring that video footage is preserved when necessary

· Community Outreach

· Attending community meetings

· Upholding neighbor relations

· Guest retentions

Qualifications

· 4 years security management or lead management

· 6 years security experience

· Must have a food handlers and proper alcohol certification

· Must be proficient in Microsoft and google platforms

· Must have knowledge in the hospitality and entertainment industry

· Must be able to adhere to all local laws and make sure the venue is following

· You have excellent communication skills, can stand for long periods of time, and are able to lift up to 40 pounds

· You have an eye for detail and you're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

· Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required
