- High School Junior or Senior Student
- Plans to attend a 2-year college/ university for Ag Diesel Mechanics
The Opportunity:
Principal Responsibilities:
- Ensure that your work area is clean and present in a professional manner
- Perform repair and maintenance work on equipment, in accordance with time schedules as assigned by service manager
- Work as a team with the parts department and communicate the parts needed
- Seek other opportunities when temporarily unable to finish the job
- Demonstrate teamwork to co-workers and fellow employees
- Be willing to listen and learn from manager and other employees at the location
- Absorb constructive criticism to improve in the future
- Maintain a consistent attendance record by clocking in and out daily
- Complete and submit all daily documentation to service manager in a timely manner
- Consistently strive to improve percentage of billable hours to meet or exceed quota
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Equipment mechanical knowledge
- Aptitude for continued learning and education through provided courses
- Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- "Be of Service" attitude to serve customers
- Work is performed in an office, maintenance shop and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, speaking, listening and motor coordination.
