Requirements for Nurse Unit Manager:

  • Current Massachusetts nursing License
  • Experience with electronic medical record, PCC preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid leadership abilities

Job Duties for Nurse Unit Manager:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Mentor RN/LPN Staff Nurses
  • Provide guidance to our Nursing Assistants
  • Monitor training for new orients
  • Ensure continual delivery of high-quality nursing care
  • Implement infection control updates
  • Greet new admissions and participate in discharge planning
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Direct workflow efficiently within time constraints
  • Contribute to QAPI analysis and initiatives

The successful Nurse Unit Manager candidate will report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with our Assistant Director of Nursing and Staff Development Coordinator to foster patient-centered nursing care.
