Senior Product Manager - Data & Analytics

What You'll Do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to join us, specializing in data and analytics products. As the Senior Product Manager for Data and Analytics, you will help oversee critical components such as data experiences, data foundations, and analytics and insights capabilities. We're looking for an individual who can comfortably lead complex discovery work around data products, collaborate with design and engineering to bring creative solutions to market and iterate on our vision and strategy. Experience building data products and data visualization experiences is a significant plus.

What will you be doing?

• Develop a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the data and analytics domains through research and regular interactions with customers and internal stakeholders. 
• Clearly define and frame customers' challenges for your team while prioritizing opportunities for improvement. 
• Consistently deliver high-value solutions aimed at improving user behavior and outcomes for our customers and BambooHR.
• Strategically manage the product roadmap by capturing input from various sources, comprehending and prioritizing this input, and ensuring your team is focused on the most impactful projects.
• Possess the ability to comprehend and communicate technical requirements effectively. Transform these requirements into actionable specifications for your engineering team.
• Collaborate with your team to think creatively, envisioning future solutions that effectively address identified challenges and improve our competitive positioning. 
• Define solution scopes to their most compact and coherent state, allowing for early customer deployment.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of your solutions through quantitative and qualitative measures to ensure they successfully address the identified challenges. 
• Take full responsibility for the quality and excellence of the data and analytics product areas.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

• You feel aligned with the BambooHR values
• 5 years experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of shipping impactful products
• You strive for world-class software in every release.
• Ideally, you have a strong experience working with Design and UX, as it’s essential you’re able to think deeply about product design decisions and have an understanding of how to create simple user interfaces
• You can clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them. You’re comfortable making decisions without consensus. You can help others make decisions by being persuasive
• You can work in deep collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers from discovery all the way to delivery of experiences for customers
• You have deep experience working with qualitative customer insights and quantitative customer data to inform decisions
• You’re entrepreneurial; you don’t need direction; you're self-driven and organized
• You’re able to switch between thinking creatively and analytically

Schedule

• 9AM-5PM MST, Monday-Friday

Work Environment

• Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
