Take Note: This position will require you to obtain a full DFS County background and Reference check, Nevada Residence fee is $45, and out-of-state residents relocating to Nevada will have additional fees, TB, CPR, and internal testing before beginning your contract with the agency. We do not cover the costs for any of the aforementioned testing or clearances, so some up-front costs exist. However, we can provide up to 40 hours per week if you meet all expectations and engage in quality services with our clients. 

Job Summary:We are currently seeking dedicated Support Staff members to join our team at the QRTP (Qualified Residential Treatment Program) / PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility) Campus. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This role involves thorough daily cleaning, sanitation, and restocking of supplies to ensure the smooth operation of our residential care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning and sanitation tasks with attention to detail, ensuring all areas of the campus, including common areas, restrooms, hallways, and administrative offices, are properly cleaned and maintained.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions.
• Restock supplies such as bathroom items, hand sanitizer, personal protective equipment, and janitorial materials.
• Assist in the laundry service operations, including washing, drying, and folding linens as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, report any maintenance issues to the facilities manager, and ensure completion of the work.
• Adhere to infection control policies and protocols, using PPE when necessary to prevent the spread of illness and ensure a healthy environment for both residents and staff.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in an environmentally conscious and regulations-compliant manner.
• Perform regular inspections to identify areas requiring repair or replacement, and notify management of any conditions that need attention.
• Assist with setting up rooms for new residents, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment.
• Attend mandatory training sessions to keep up to date with safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Work closely with the QRTP/PRTF team to support the mission of providing excellent care and support to the facility’s residents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be over the age of 21.
• Previous experience in janitorial services, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
• Ability to read labels and safety warnings on cleaning agents and equipment.
• Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• General handyman skills for minor repairs are a plus.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to creating and maintaining a safe environment for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs Employment Type: Full-Time
