Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Administrator to join our team. As a Restaurant Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our organization, communication, marketing, and events efforts while driving sales and bolstering team efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality (especially team communication, events, marketing, HR support) and wants to contribute to the success of our company while building their resume and industry knowledge.
Duties:
Provide administrative support to all departments within the restaurant/hospitality establishment. Examples include: answering the phone, taking reservations, responding to general inquiries, responding to and assisting with the booking of parties, scanning invoices, interacting with vendors during the day, printing menus
Assist in marketing and communications efforts, including creating social media content and engaging with our audience, assisting with the execution of exciting special events and marketing programming, and acting as 'the face' of the restaurant for large parties and private events
Manage guest communication channels, addressing inquiries, feedback, and reviews in a professional manner
Coordinate and support events held on-site & off-site, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and customer retention
Market outreach - local businesses, cultivating relations, competitive research, etc.
Digital Marketing: Ensure our information is kept up-to-date on the website and via local review sites
Assist with PR outreach as needed
Support Ownership with restaurant business administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in administrative, marketing, communication or hospitality roles is preferred
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilitiesComfortable answering the phone, communicating with guests and fellow team members
Enthusiasm for and knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings during events as needed
A proactive, highly organized approach to work
An upbeat, motivated and positive spirit to bring to the team and the energy of the restaurant
Spanish is a plus!
