We are an orthodontic practice looking for a part-time dental insurance and billing coordinator to join our experienced team in our Lutherville, MD location.

We are searching for a candidate who is looking to make a long-term commitment to our team. Someone who is well spoken, has a great attitude, with financial , and insurance billing experience.

Dental Insurance and Billing Coordinator Responsibilities:

* Verify the patient's orthodontic insurance benefits

* Explain insurance billing to patients

*Electronic submittal of insurance claims

*Follow up on non-paid insurance claims and manage patient accounts

*Process insurance payments and refunds

*2 years of dental/ orthodontic insurance experience required

Ideal candidate: Insurance coordinator, financial coordinator, accounts receivable, collections, dental/ orthodontic coding, part time, accounts manager

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Insurance verification: 2 years (Required)
