The Role

The QA Engineer will work closely with developers and other QA Engineers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure the product requirements are met. The QA Engineer will be an effective communicator with the ability to participate in sprint planning meetings and estimate QA tasks. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining manual test cases as well as automated scripts.

Day In The Life:

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, regression tests, and work with developers to ensure all reported software bugs/defects are resolved
• Write manual & automated test cases to verify product functionality as features are being developed
• Execute SDLC tests, including functional tests, regression tests, API tests, database tests, automated tests, etc
• Document defects into a bug tracking system
• Work closely with Agile Team (PO, Scrum Masters, Developers) to ensure features are built according to plan
• Serve as a technical QA expert on our product suites
• Communicate status regularly and effectively to project and functional leaders

Technologies required:

• 5 years of QA experience
• 3 years of API testing experience
• 3 years of Database testing experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle or MySQL)
• 1 years of automation experience (TestProject, Selenium, Appium or Cypress)
• 1 years of Java or JavaScript experience
• 1 years of Linux experience
• 1 years of Jira and Confluence experience
• Experience with Git, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
