Responsibilities :
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Directly supervises employees in the Security Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance;
rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Preferred Education and Experience :
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills :
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands :

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to remain alert and focused while listening to the normal noise of the casino such as the noise from the slot machines and the music playing throughout the casino.
Must be able to withstand a smoking environment.
