Maintains and repairs various motorized or non-motorized electric and battery operated equipment on property.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains cleanliness of shops by taking out trash & sweeping.
Maintains good housekeeping practices in shop and work areas.
Assists in repairs of many types of equipment throughout all departments of the property.
Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia.
Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
Responds to room calls.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School diploma general education (GED) and five years related experience.
Basic to advanced knowledge of electronics and mechanics.
Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Strong tactical skills.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Training
All employees are required to complete mandatory compliance training within thirty (30) days of hire date, then annually thereafter. Training marked with an asterisk below must be completed prior to reporting to their respective work area. The below courses are required for this position:
