Ballard Dental Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Seattle, WA

Overview
Our practice is growing, and we are looking to add another Dental Assistant to join our team! We have a 4-day workweek (Tuesday through Friday) which is considered full-time for us. We offer a robust benefit package including a health insurance stipend, paid time off, holiday pay, 401K, and more!
Ballard Dental Care is looking for a Dental Assistant to work full-time (30 hrs). We're seeking an individual that is a team-player, positive, hardworking, and will reflect our core values.

In This Position You Will:
  • Provide chair-side assistance by preparing the operatory (including cleaning, disinfection, setting up instruments, materials, and appropriate anesthetic) for scheduled procedures.
  • Setting up and assisting with clinical procedures that include restorative treatment, surgical extractions, basic endodontics, scaling and root planing, pediatrics, and removable prosthodontics.
  • Place sealants, perform fluoride treatments, coronal polish, and oral hygiene instruction.
  • Take digital x-rays as well as take/pour impressions.
  • Make crown & bridge temporaries when applicable.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance as assigned.
  • Schedule appointments for patients in the digital practice management software as needed.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and ordering supplies.
Required Qualifications for This Position Include:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a current WA State dental assistant license registration.
  • Ideal experience of 1 years as a dental assistant in a digital practice but we are also willing to train the right person.
  • Friendly personality with a positive and hardworking/ proactive mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills as the iob will require someone who can be successful as a (back office to front office) floater on days when appropriate.
  • Someone interested in long-term commitment and desires to grow with the practice.
  • BLS Certification (can obtain upon hire).
Pay and Benefits:
  • The pay range for this position starts from $27 up to $34 per hour maximum. Salary will depend on relevant work experience.
  • 401k with employer match option.
  • Health insurance monthly stipend (currently at $90 per week-worked/paycheck).
  • Dental care provided for active employees free of charge by Ballard Dental Care for exams, cleanings & basic restorative treatment needed. Specific details about any major restorative can be discussed during the interview process.
  • Paid time off earned for every hour worked & holiday pav for six major federal holidays.
  • Get paid with weekly paycheck/direct deposit.
  • Free off-street parking
