Ball HealthCare is Hiring a Restorative Nurse Near Birmingham, AL

Arlington Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center is currently seeking a Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN) for our Birmingham, AL facility. You will perform restorative nursing procedures that maximizes the residents' existing abilities, emphasizes independence instead of dependence and minimizes the negative effects of disability in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility. If you have a desire and a passion to serve the rehabilitation and healthcare needs in both long-term and short-term care, this is the opportunity for you!

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Alabama
  • Previous experience or completion of appropriate training program in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
